How do I contact Spy on a Bird?
We offer several options for placing an order: Online We offer secure online shopping. Just visit our product pages and add the item to your shopping cart. Phone Orders may also be placed by calling toll free 1-800-606-6428.
What methods of payment can be used when placing an order? We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and PayPal. During checkout, select "check out" for all credit card orders. You will be given a credit card option on the following page. We also welcome money orders and personal checks. All checks must clear before item will ship.
Will my personal and credit card information be safe? All online credit card transactions are secured by PayPal, the industry leader in online payments. When orders are placed by phone or mail, you can be fully assured that none of the provided information will be sold or imparted for trade or sale.
What are cookies and how do you use them? We use cookies to help identify you when you visit our website. The cookies make your use of the site easier, allow you to retrieve an earlier shopping cart, make the site run more smoothly and help us to maintain a secure site. What are your shipping rates/policies?
Most of our items ship FedEx unless other arrangements have been made. If you would like an alternate shipping method, please contact us when you place your order.
At this time we only ship to the continental US.
Every unit is tested and is guaranteed to work right from the box. Within the first 7 days, if you are not satisfied for any reason, please call us at 1-800-606-6428 and we will assist you in returning the product and issue a refund for the purchase price. Customer pays return shipping. All electronics also comes with a 12-month warranty from the purchase date. Solar Panels come with a 20 year warranty on the power production of their panels. Because there are no moving parts, the only wear-and-tear these systems see is from daily sun exposure, year after year. This is factored into the 20-year warranty, which states that by the end of the twelfth year, the panels should still be producing at 90% of their initial capacity, and that by the end of the 20th year, they should still be producing at 80% of their rated power.
In addition, all plastic lumber birdhouses and
birdfeeders carry a lifetime warranty.
Please retain your original invoice.
Damage related to normal wear and tear is excluded from this guarantee.
Sorry – squirrel damage is not covered under our policy.
Do you carry different products in addition to what is offered online? We are constantly working to update product information and post them to our website. We have several products in the development stage and therefore only available in limited quantity. We also offer custom designed products. If there is a specific item you would like us to offer, please contact us.
Where can I got more information on a particular product? We are always happy to answer any question you have concerning our products. Product manuals are also available for download. Please see the manuals section under FAQ's.
All of our birdfeeders and birdhouses are hand constructed in our workshop in Winston Salem, NC.
Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) pricing is an agreement that all legitimate manufacturer authorized retailers enter into with their authorized USA supplier, usually the manufacturer. According to such agreements, retailers may not display in any print or online advertising, a price below the MAP. We adhere to MAP restrictions because our relationship with our authorized suppliers demands it. We are an honorable, honest company - we keep agreements with vendors AS WELL as our customers, because it is the right way to do business. Such adherence also guarantees our customers...YOU...get proper and prompt service from these manufacturers should you need it, not to mention advance notice on exciting new model launches, which often hit the market in extremely limited quantities. Dealers that do not abide by requested pricing policies are generally cut off from such products, not to mention post sale service. We respect our MAP contracts, and wherever the scope of that agreement permits us to supply product for a selling price below MAP, we make those prices available to you in the easiest, quickest manner allowed us.
